Hey, we are Lukas Steiner and Marc André Gerbes from DropDetective. As a team, we have made it our mission to curb the misuse of knockout drops with the help of our products and services and to make the event industry safer. Protection against knockout drops should be more than an absolute standard in both private and public situations! By participating in the thincubator 2024, we were able to meet great people and make important contacts. MediEm is an AI-powered nurse call system that automatically organises and prioritises spoken patient requests. In view of the ongoing shortage of healthcare professionals and outdated communication infrastructure in hospitals, MediEm relies on state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions to improve both the patient experience and efficiency in medical facilities. The mission: A sustainable contribution to improving the healthcare system! During the thincubator, the 1:1 mentoring with Birka in the area of female entrepreneurship was particularly helpful, as we received valuable tips on our pitch deck and personal development. She also provided us with important information and contacts for start-up programmes, which we will continue to benefit from after the thincubator. The personal consultation with Sven from VR Bank on the topic of start-up financing was also very helpful.

We are nono, an innovative startup that digitises clubs through our versatile platform.Our platform offers various modules, including ticketing, digital payment and membership management.This enables clubs to tackle and solve their most pressing digitalisation problems in a targeted manner.Thanks to the thincubator Advanced Track, we have made significant progress in four months: we developed our first prototype and gained our first test customers.The coaching sessions and insights into the VC world were particularly valuable for us and accelerated our progress. For start-ups in advanced idea phases, the Advanced Track is a clear recommendation for taking the next big step.

Initial situation CU Mehrweg has set itself the goal of revolutionizing the food industry with a centrally controlled reusable system. With their reusable container system as packaging for food, they have already been nominated for the Green Allay Award Europe, a start-up prize for the circular economy. A field test in Freiburg meant that the reusable packaging for the Namnams brand could already be found in supermarkets. Results With their idea and a convincing pitch, the two won the thincubator Pitch Day 2023 & thus a media package worth €50,000 from Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures. They will use this to strengthen communication of the reusable system to end consumers in order to gradually make reusable packaging for food in supermarkets the norm. A pilot project is being planned.
